The Batman Black and White collection of motion comics contains 10 short stories bundled into 5 episodes. The comics and their stories revolve around Gotham City featuring Batman and various other villians. Each story comes from different writers and artist, all bringing their unique ideas and perspectives, and focusing on different aspects of Batman and his world. Collection 2 also available.

Batman Black and White was originally a acclaimed four issue comic book anthology released in 1996 by DC comics. It is unclear whether or not each of the stories are meant to tie into the Batman regular universe, but it's generally assumed that each story should be treated like single serve elseworlds and alternate universes.

Re: Batman Black & White 1.5b

Wonderful story telling. Very well done transitions and motion. I love the scalpel transition. The Black and White series has some excellent entries. Rest assured that this is one of them.

Good short story, the script dialogue is just great with this Batman motion comic. Reminds me that he is a detective which is really great. The entire series of stories are just fantastic, definately buy the dvd.

Re: Batman Black & White 1.5b

Total ripper. Reminds me of Episode 8 where you see Batman's real motivation for fighting crime. Not just revenge for his parents, but genuine care for the victims and people he tries to protect. There's no crime too small for Batman. Some of this is really cool and arty. I felt like the voice over dialogue was a bit rushed. But a great way to finish off the collection. Recommended.
