An incredibly well executed motion comic. Operation Ajax does what we have been waiting for motion comics to do. It captures the reading experience of traditional paper comics with pages, panels and your own pacing of reading. Adding to this is the awesome motion enhancements, transitions, extra features and info on panels (if you choose to view) and of course sound. A dynamic and inventive project that helps shapes the future of what motion comics will be like.

I enjoyed Operation Ajax. It's the most stylish motion comic I've experienced on the iPad thus far. It definitely shows the promise of the technology and the future of interactive comics and motion comics. It has cool panel transitioning, smooth animation, a great story, great soundtrack . The pacing is still user controlled and navigates nicely and as a package it's very engaging & immersive. The story is mature, well written and has cinematic appeal. Easy to read too. The art lends itself nicely to the narrative and while it may not be as glimmering as say Jim Lee. It works well for this particular type of comic. It was worth every penny and everyone I recommended it too was not only excited about this mode of story telling but also the actual book itself. Operation Ajax, like The Witcher captured what a motion comic is. A comic book with a digital upgrade. Depth, scrolling, a soundtrack & sound effects. All weaved together into one of the most stylish offering this year. Comics or motion comics wise. The future is here and Operation: Ajax is the one to beat.
This has to be the best form of motion comic out there. Like some have mentioned in the forums it gives the reader the ability to pause and continue reading at another time. I loved the animated pitures and the way it made you move through the story which was great itself. Great!
Amazing, gripping, entertaining and surprisingly educational. This is the best motion comic experience to date. It is perfectly executed. I mean that - PERFECTLY! Plenty of reading time too, it's worth the $8. The dossiers and video archival footage really add to the experience. Stick with it in the first chapter if you find it a little slow, it gets more and more enthralling and at times is so filling that you will have to put it down for a while.
